Supporting the Presteigne Festival

The Presteigne Festival presents an astonishingly wide variety of music and musicians each year over the six-day Festival period - it is loved by audiences and critics alike and, as well as public money from the Arts Council of Wales, Powys County Council and Presteigne and Norton Town Council, funding has also been forthcoming from an extensive collection of sponsors, trusts, foundations and individuals. However, if the Festival is to develop further by commissioning new work and supporting young artists, new funding sources need to be secured in order to ensure a bright future.

Presteigne Festival Patrons enjoy an early booking facility, are invited to Festival receptions, have their names listed in the Souvenir Programme and receive free tickets for all Festival events. Currently the cost is a minimum of £300 per Double Patron (two tickets per concert) or a minimum of £175 per Single Patron (one ticket per concert).

Sponsorship of the Presteigne Festival starts at £400 for Corporate Patronage - a half-page advert and listing in the Souvenir Programme plus two complimentary tickets for each of the main evening concerts. Other Sponsorship packages can be tailored to fit individual needs.

Begun in 2007 with a retiring collection after a concert remembering one of the founding directors of the Presteigne Festival, the Joan Hughes Memorial Fund is in place specifically to provide funding for the commissioning of new work. Donations to this fund may be GiftAided.

Many people cannot afford to give large charitable donations in their lifetime but can make a significant and far-reaching contribution in their will. Those who remember us in their Wills make a lasting contribution that will be remembered for many years to come.
