WAPLEY HILL WALK
Get close to nature and join the Forestry Commission on a picturesque and historic walk around Wapley Hill Wood. You will be guided by an experienced Woodland Manager and a Forest Ranger who will walk you through beech avenues and forest glades up to the Iron Age Hill Fort. Wapley was previously used as a rabbit warren and the remains of the stone wall can still be seen at the edge of the woodland.
You will require a degree of fitness on this walk and please note not all paths are surfaced; sturdy footwear is advisable. There is limited parking available at Wapley Hill Wood car park, please use the Festival Bus.
